Riverdale LNG Plant
The Riverdale LNG plant, located in Riverdale, Georgia, was placed in service in 1972 and has storage capacity of 2.56 billion cubic feet (Bcf) or 31 million gallons of liquefied natural gas in its two storage tanks. The plant has the capability to produce 120,000 gallons per day and has one trucking rack and scale that can load a 10,000 gallon tanker in less than one hour. Operations are fully staffed year-round 24/7 to meet our customer’s demand. Located south of Atlanta, the plant is supplied by two interstate pipelines. It is connected to Atlanta Gas Light's beltline pipeline system for distribution of gas to the Atlanta market. The plant can deliver an equivalent of 400,000 Dth per day of natural gas during peak send-out.
