ATLANTA – August 31, 2016 – Pivotal LNG today announced that it has executed a multi-year contract to supply liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Carib Energy (USA), a subsidiary of Crowley Maritime Corp (Crowley). LNG will be transported by Crowley and delivered to Molinos de Puerto Rico (Molinos), the Caribbean arm of Ardent Mills LLC. Molinos will use LNG as a fuel source in its Puerto Rico operations.

This project provides an environmentally friendly fuel to Molinos that will help reduce emissions in Puerto Rico and decrease its dependency on other petroleum products,” said Tim Delay, vice president of Pivotal LNG. “Liquefied natural gas is a clean, domestically produced alternative fuel that can be used in multiple ways. This additional longterm sale of LNG to Crowley showcases the value of LNG as an alternative energy source.”
Pivotal will load LNG onto Crowley’s international shipping organization (ISO) containers. These ISO containers will be transported via truck to Crowley-owned vessels in Jacksonville, Fla., and then Crowley’s Puerto Rico-based logistics team will deliver the LNG to Molinos in Puerto Rico.
With the execution of this agreement, Pivotal LNG and Crowley continue to expand the use of LNG in Puerto Rico.

Pivotal LNG and Southern Company Gas (formerly AGL Resources Inc.) operate a network of LNG production facilities with the capacity to produce 540,000 gallons per day and the ability to store more than 94 million gallons. Pivotal LNG, through its JAX LNG partnership, also is developing an LNG production facility in Jacksonville, Fla. Construction of that facility is expected to begin in the coming months.
